The Dream
Kion Lathan had a Dream! He wanted his young children to grow up saturated with the truths of the Bible rather than be influenced by the humanistic teachings of worldly ideas. He saw what pride and disobedience had done to Adam’s relationship with God and he didn’t want his daughters and son to fall into the same sin.

So he called his good friend, Patrick Hurley, the former national speaker for Campus Crusade for Christ and pastoral consultant, to ask him for assistance in biblical theology. Pat recruited his good friend, Keith Parker, a professional book editor, to round out the team and the three of them were set to explain systematic theology to children in a book series featuring jungle animals.

15 books were written highlighting Scriptural truths such as The Person of Jesus Christ, Creation, The Fall of Man, The Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension, Grace vs the Law, Pentecost, The Holy Spirit, The wisdom of Proverbs and many more godly staples.
The success depended on teaching theology to 6 to 10-year-old children using the jungle beasts to make each valuable explanation clear.
It worked beautifully!
